Position Overview
As the Yard Person, you will be responsible for the tidiness, cleanliness and hygiene of the Wee Waa branch, to ensure safe and healthy work environment. You will be required to report any potential problems and maintenance requirements to appropriate parties. You will help facilitate movement of stock, deliveries and goods for Parts and Service Teams and be responsible for general yard and building maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Inform management of potential problems or areas that need repair in the workplace.
- Carry out general building and yard maintenance
- Parts Freight collection and delivery each day at 9am.
- Movement of stock and goods around the Branch as required.
- Facilitate and carry out tip/ garbage runs.
- Continuous monitoring of the cleanliness and hygiene situation of the branch.
- Clean offices, communal areas, toilets and stock rooms once per week.
- Washing of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
The Ideal Candidate should have:
- An ability to work within timeframes and to meet deadlines
- An ability to work as a team
- Attention to detail
- The drive for continuous improvement
- Can follow safe work procedures and operations
- A driver's license (Essential)
Desirable Qualities:
- Forklift License (Desirable)
- Yard Person experience (Desirable)
