Casual Mental Health Support Worker (Male) – Dee Why, NSW

We are seeking dedicated, experienced male Mental Health Support Workers to assist NDIS participants in Dee Why, NSW. This casual role offers meaningful work supporting individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support participants with daily living activities.
  • Facilitate social and community engagement.
  • Provide domestic assistance as needed.
  • Accompany and support participants to activities and appointments.

Must Have:

  • Experience in supporting clients with mental health conditions
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check or willing to get one
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willing to get one
  • Valid Police Check or willing to get one
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance

Ideal Candidate:

  • Resides in or near Dee Why and surrounding suburbs.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to quickly establish rapport.
  • Creative in planning engaging outdoor and community-based activities.
  • Able to motivate and encourage participants in everyday life.
  • Strong knowledge of client-centred and trauma-informed practices.
