Here at BLACKROC, we're working with a business that's building a real-time, multi-user platform used by tens of thousands of people every week. They're scaling quickly and investing heavily in product and engineering.

As such, we're looking for Mid to Senior Backend Engineers who enjoy autonomy, end-to-end ownership, and solving scaling challenges.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong experience developing APIs and backend systems (Kotlin, Java, or another JVM language)
  • Solid grasp of SQL, database design, and performance tuning (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Experience building and running applications in a cloud environment (AWS ideal)
  • A self-starter who enjoys autonomy and delivering high-quality code quickly
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
