Why work at TAS Primary?

At Trinity Anglican School, you'll join a caring and connected community where every staff member is valued for their expertise and creativity. Our Primary campuses are united by a shared vision that champions curiosity, compassion, perseverance, and excellence. We invest in professional growth, provide opportunities to innovate, and celebrate the joy of teaching. Situated in beautiful Far North Queensland, TAS offers a supportive team environment, engaged families, and students who are eager to learn.

Is TAS for me? Inspiring the Curious.

You're passionate about giving young learners the confidence to express themselves, explore their imaginations, and discover their unique voices. You thrive in a classroom filled with movement, storytelling, and laughter, where every child is encouraged to take creative risks and shine. You're excited about working in an environment that nurtures the individual strengths of students and fosters curiosity to create outstanding young global citizens. As a professional educator, you thrive when provided with the flexibility to individualise learning for each student.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join one of the premier teaching teams in Queensland. Founded in 1983, Trinity Anglican School (TAS), located in Cairns, inspires young men and women to be the best they can be.

Is this you?

Whilst implementing 'best practice' curriculum in teaching areas to support the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs of the students, you will work collaboratively with the campus Curriculum Coordinator to achieve the aims and objectives of the school and develop cooperative relationships that ensure the smooth operation of the Primary School. You will also work collaboratively with the pastoral care coordinator to ensure the wellbeing of TAS students.

In addition to a strong commitment to continuous improvement in conjunction with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL), you will apply the Art and Science of Teaching (ASOT) by Robert Marzano and Essential Skills of Classroom Management (ESCM) which underpin the school's pedagogical management approach.

TAS has a goal to inspire its staff and students to be the best they can be. As a new member of the TAS teaching team, you will receive the support you need and the challenges you crave to provide the top quality education for which TAS holds a strong reputation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and energetic teacher to work with our experienced team in a vibrant co-educational environment.
