About the Role

Reporting to the National Permits Leader, the Permits Coordinator plays a key role in managing permit applications and ensuring they are processed accurately and within deadlines. You'll work closely with our Planning and Permits teams to support operations and uphold our commitment to safety and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and submit traffic control permit applications within required timeframes.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage communications through phone, email, Teams, and in person to build strong relationships.
  • Maintain organised records, databases, and multiple inboxes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Process invoices, payments, and other administrative tasks.
  • Report weekly KPIs to the National Permits Leader.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Altus Group with professionalism.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in traffic management or permit coordination is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel; minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised, with great attention to detail and time management.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and team goals.
