We're looking for a Domain Architect to lead the technology direction across a leading general insurance client. This will encompass new business, pricing, underwriting, and claims. You'll play a key role in driving modernisation, digital transformation, and architectural excellence to build Australia's leading digital insurer.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and deliver architecture strategies aligned to business goals.
  • Lead the technology uplift and digital transformation agenda.
  • Develop roadmaps and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and future-ready.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to support innovation.
  • Partner with IT and business leaders to turn strategy into effective digital solutions.
  • Promote best practices in security, data privacy, and compliance.
  • Mentor teams and uplift capability in modern architecture and DevSecOps.

Your knowledge

  • Experience as a Domain Architect or Solution Architect within insurance or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud, APIs, microservices, and data analytics.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps, end-to-end technology stacks, and Domain-Oriented Microservices Architecture (DOMA).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect) preferred.
