Workshop Service Advisor

Goodyear Autocare Gungahlin are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as our new Workshop Service Advisor.

You will be supporting owner to oversee the service team, ensure the quality of workshop jobs and provide great customer service.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Working closely in collaboration with the business owner.
• Customer facing front desk, including booking appointments and selling products to customers.
• Monitor staff to ensure their services meet the standards of quality set by the company to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Uphold client contact concerning any problems including addressing any client complaints and resolving challenges.
• Customer service with a strong emphasis on keeping existing and attracting new clients.
• Utilise company systems to maintain a high level of organisation and ensure the efficient flow of administrative duties;
• Implement workplace procedures and instructions to achieve good WH&S practice.

The Successful Candidate:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
• Strong leadership and organisational skills;
• Confident at working under pressure and towards deadline;
• Tradesperson Certificate (Motor Mechanic) would be ideal but not required;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in automotive service operations is a plus;
• Must hold a current driver license (applicable to types of vehicles being driven);
• Able to manage and resolve complex problems or conflict using negotiation;
• Proficiency in the use of computer systems and customer information databases;
• Effective written, verbal and numeracy skills.
