ASSOCIATE NURSE UNIT MANAGER - PERIOPERATIVE SERVICES

Limited tenure position 24 hours per fortnight until 11/01/2026

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Perioperative Nurse to develop in the role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager within Perioperative Services.

Perioperative Services is a friendly work environment with a commitment to education and training.

The successful candidate must be committed to the provision of a very high level of customer service and quality health care in a team environment.

As our ideal candidate you:

• Current registration with AHPRA
• Specific qualifications and/or minimum of 4 years experience in Perioperative Nursing
• Very high level of interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to organise work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, management tasks and patient advocacy
• Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing or a commitment to work towards
• Ability to participate in the after hours on call roster
• Computer literacy
