About the Role:

We are seeking an
AI Engineer
with strong experience in
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
and
agent-based development
. In this role, you will be responsible for building and deploying
RAG
models, integrating them with agentic AI frameworks, and running these models in
production environments
. The ideal candidate will have
hands-on experience
in coding, deploying, and optimizing AI-driven solutions for a
leading banking client
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement
    Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
    models to combine external data retrieval with generative capabilities for more accurate and context-aware outputs.
  • Apply
    agent-based frameworks
    (experience with any model is fine) to develop intelligent models that can autonomously make decisions and interact with dynamic environments.
  • Engage directly in the
    coding
    and
    implementation
    of AI models. This is not just a design role – you'll be building the systems and taking them into production.
  • Take AI models into
    production
    , ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance in a live environment, particularly in the banking/financial space.
  • Work alongside other AI engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure the solutions align with business objectives and deliver impact.
  • Utilize
    AWS Bedrock suite
    and other
    AWS services
    to deploy, scale, and manage models effectively in the cloud.
  • Continuously monitor and
    optimize models
    after deployment to ensure they perform well in production, troubleshooting any issues and improving model efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least
    2 years of hands-on experience
    in
    Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
    and
    agent-based AI
    model development.
  • A broad understanding of
    agentic development frameworks
    (experience with any agent model is acceptable).
  • Proven experience coding and developing AI models, not just designing solutions. The role requires hands-on involvement in both model creation and deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience in taking
    AI models into production
    and managing them in a live environment (deployment, scaling, monitoring).
  • 2-3 years of experience
    in
    Python
    with a focus on
    AI
    and
    machine learning
    .
  • Experience with
    AWS services
    , specifically the
    Bedrock suite
    , to deploy, scale, and manage AI models.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working in the
    banking or financial
    services industry.
  • Experience with frameworks like
    TensorFlow
    ,
    PyTorch
    , or
    Keras
    is a plus.
  • Experience with optimizing AI models post-deployment, including techniques such as A/B testing, model versioning, and drift detection.
