Sandblaster/Painter

About the role

J&B Engineering is seeking an experienced Sandblaster/Painter to join our team in Maddington, Western Australia. This is a full-time position, where you will be responsible for preparing and painting a variety of industrial equipment and components.

What you'll be doing

• Thoroughly sandblast and prepare surfaces for painting
• Apply high-quality paint coatings to industrial equipment and components
• Ensure all work meets the required quality and safety standards
• Accurately document and track all project work
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Assist with other general workshop duties as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Sandblaster/Painter, ideally in the mining or industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting application methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
