Protech are currently looking for Qualified Electricians to start at the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane CBD for immediate start.

We have multiple openings available for a 4-6 week duration. 

In this role, your responsibilities may include installing light and power and cable trays at the new Boggo Rd Station. 

Candidates must have a current and valid QLD Electrical Licence, CPR / LVR, and Scissor Lift tickets.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Immediate start available
  • $80.12 per hour plus allowances
  • Monday - Friday 6am-2pm
  • Above award pay rates
  • 4-6 week project

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute electrical and wiring installations.
  • Upgrade electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to complete projects on time.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems as needed.

TICKETS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Construction white card
  • Valid QLD Electrical License and certifications
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring and safety protocols
  • Able to problem solve and have attention to detail
  • Drivers licence & reliable transport
  • Able to pass a drug & alcohol test and pre-employment medical
