Sunshine Coast, Australia Good Shepherd Lutheran College Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Permanent 35 hours per week / 39 weeks a year (school-term time)

Commencing Term 4, 2025 with an immediate or negotiated start date.

The School Sport Officer- Sports Administration is part of the College Sport /HPE Team and is involved in the ongoing support of College sporting and curriculum programs in Years P-12.  The role is critical in the support of staff in the preparation, delivery and communication of sporting/HPE activities for the College. You will be a key member of the team, along with another Support Officer, in the support of growing needs in a vibrant and busy department.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Applicants are requested to present a written response to the key selection criteria below when this position is advertised:

  1. Experience in a similar role or role with transferable skills.

  2. A passion for sport and capacity to encourage and support the organisation of sport programs and encourage participation.

  3. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and capacity to learn new systems.

  4. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

  5. Demonstrated ability to relate to young people in a positive, respectful and supportive manner, upholding the values of the College.

Note – all applicants must have a current Blue Card (or capacity/willingness to obtain these) and Qualifications in First Aid are desirable, and training provided to obtain these.
