Full-time Lead Dental Assistant
Do you feel like you've outgrown your current dental assistant role? You're highly skilled, experienced, and ready to take on more responsibility but the opportunity just isn't there. Maybe you're stuck in a position where you're capable of leading but aren't given the chance to step up. You're eager to make a bigger impact, but without a clear path to grow, you feel like you're just going through the motions.
It's time to take the lead. At Reef Dental Centre, we're looking for a driven Dental Assistant ready to step into a leadership role. In this rare opportunity, you'll have the chance to train and mentor staff, oversee lab work with digital workflows to create whitening trays, mouthguards, retainers and splints, and work closely as the Principal Dentist's right hand. If you're ready to take your career to the next level and be recognized as a leader, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
About Us:
Nestled just a short drive from the sun-kissed beaches, our practice offers more than just dental care – its an experience. Our recently renovated, modern facilities boast state-of-the-art equipment (3D scanning, Digital smile design, high comfort dental chairs, ceiling TVs and more), providing our team with the tools they need to deliver top-notch care.
At Reef Dental Centre, we're passionate about creating beautiful smiles and lasting relationships. Our boutique-level service extends beyond dental procedures – its about making each patient feel valued and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors. Our practice is built on a foundation of compassion, excellence and continuous improvement.
Your Role:
As our Lead Dental Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in our practice's success. You'll have the opportunity to mentor and support our team of dental assistants, ensuring that every member is equipped to deliver the highest quality care to our patients. You'll work closely with our dentists and administrative staff to streamline operations and enhance the overall patient experience.
If you thrive on a dynamic role that allows you to branch out into helping other areas of the practice, such as administration/reception, this is surely the role for you.
What We Offer:
- A permanent full-time role with competitive pay.
- Training and Development: We believe in investing in our team members. We provide comprehensive training as needed, along with ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Collaborative Environment: Join a supportive team that values open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect. We work together to achieve our goals and celebrate our success as a team.
- Opportunity for Growth: This is more than just a job – it's a career opportunity. As our practice has grown recently from 2 to 3 dental chairs, so do the opportunities for advancement within our organisation.
Requirements:
- Dental Assisting Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience as a dental assistant is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring and supporting others.
- Team Player: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work collaboratively with others.
