Sydney LHD is seeking a Provisional Fellow in Echocardiography to join the Cardiology Team at Concord Hospital

What will you be doing?

The Provisional Fellowship position in Echocardiography is for a candidate who has completed FRACP Part I or equivalent and ideally trained in general cardiology to undertake advanced training in all aspects of echocardiography. This will include daily involvement in clinical echo including supervision of advanced trainees and sonographers as well as an opportunity to participate in reporting of advanced cardiac imaging modalities (CMR and CT). The Fellow will also be expected to be involved in clinical research as well as participate in an after-hours roster.

Concord Cardiology Echocardiography Department

Clinical activities within the CRGH Echocardiography department include all aspects of echocardiography (transthoracic, transoesophageal (including 3D), stress (pharmacological and exercise) and contrast echocardiography). Additionally, the hospital provides clinical cardiac CT and MRI services and fellows regularly participate in reporting of these scans. All cardiologists within the department have higher degrees and experience in research supervision and mentoring of Advanced Trainees and Fellows in clinical research across a broad range of themes. The Cardiology Department considers Fellows to be key members of the team.

The duration of the position is for one full year (twelve months).
