Acute/Neuro/Stroke Grade 2 Occupational Therapist

About the role:
Western Health is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 2 clinician in our acute service.
Working in acute stroke/neurology and general acute and supported by a Grade 3 OT, the successful applicant must have well developed neuro assessment and intervention skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to evidence and occupation-based practice.
The role will be involved in supervision of staff and students and will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Sound communication and organisational skills are essential for success in this position.

- Demonstrate commitment to provision of Occupational Therapy practice
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in acute service provision and discharge planning
- Have strong collaboration skills
- Have demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Have experience in quality improvement and/or research project

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women's prison located in Ravenhall.
