About the Role

We seek a skilled Civil Engineering Draftsperson to prepare and modify detailed engineering drawings and documentation that support our civil design projects. The role involves close collaboration with engineers and clients to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient design outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update civil and infrastructure drawings using CAD software.
  • Assist in the design of foundations, drainage systems, pavements, and site layouts.
  • Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical data.
  • Coordinate with engineers and technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian Standards.
  • Maintain drawing registers and apply quality control checks

Skills & Experience

  • A degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, but candidates with at least a Diploma combined with substantial relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in drafting or engineering design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D or similar preferred).
  • Sound understanding of civil construction practices and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
