About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate apprentice baker to join our team at Bridgewater bakehouse' in East Bendigo, Victoria. As an apprentice baker, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the art of baking, working alongside our experienced team to create delicious breads, pastries, and other baked goods. This is a full-time position, providing you with the chance to kickstart your career in the baking industry.

Applicants must be Australian citizens to be eligible for this position.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting in the preparation and mixing of dough and batters
2. Operating baking equipment and ovens to produce a variety of baked goods
3. Decorating and finishing baked products to meet quality standards
4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
5. Learning and implementing food safety and hygiene practices
6. Completing on-the-job training and attending off-site courses to obtain your baking apprenticeship
7. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age to commence this apprenticeship
