The Role
We're looking for a dynamic and empathetic individual to join our team in the role as a Receptionist / Consult Nurse. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves animals and enjoys both client interaction and hands-on clinical work.
Customer focus is the key and any previous position held that required exceptional customer service and satisfaction would be highly desirable. Experience in the veterinary industry is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Consult Nurse Duties
- Assist veterinarians during consultations
- Perform basic nursing tasks (All training will be provided)
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure clinical areas are clean and stocked
- Appointment scheduling, billing up charges and note taking.
Receptionist Duties
- Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage appointment bookings and phone inquiries.
- Process payments and handle administrative tasks.
- Provide clear communication and support to pet owners.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception role would be an advantage but not essential.
- Previous experience in customer service highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and proactive attitude.
- Comfortable with technology and computers.
