Location - Tantula Rise is a Residential Aged Care Home located in Alexandra Headland on the Sunshine Coast .

The Job:

As a cleaning assistant you will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people's lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

  • Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
  • Attend to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables, ensuites and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room.
  • Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
  • Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
  • Provide a high quality, effective and efficient laundry service for residents (including laundry sorting, label checking, washing of personal clothing, linen and kitchen napery, folding and ironing), observing appropriate standards and infection control procedures.

You bring min 6 months experience in professional cleaning role, a real commitment to working safely, fabulous teamwork skills, basic computer skills and a passion for making a difference.

Mandatory Compliance:

  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Complete a police check
  • Current Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination (minimum of 1 dose)
