We are currently seeking experienced Plastic Extrusion Operators to join a leading manufacturing company known for quality and innovation. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a stable and growing team in a supportive environment.

Location: Forrestfield, WA

Shifts: shift work between 7am and 7pm (around 36-48 hours per week)

Employment Type: Casual role with a view to full-time employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor plastic extrusion machinery and equipment
• Set up and adjust extrusion lines according to specifications
• Ensure quality standards are met through regular inspections
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Record production data and complete relevant documentation
• Forklift Operation

Requirements:

• Proven experience in plastic extrusion
• High-reach Forklift Licence (highly desirable)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Clean police record
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol tests
