Job DescriptionJob Description
Reporting to the Depot Manager the position includes the following responsibilities:
- Administration tasks.
- Work day shift roster Monday to Friday with some out of hours calls as required.
- Making day to day changes in crew rosters based on SCT train plans and operational requirements.
- Monitoring and update the workforce management system.
- Working within the terminal administration team as required
- Work closely with the 24/7 live run centre.
- Manage crew car roster and accommodation
- Assisting the Depot Manager as required with booking training and medicals.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Comprehensive computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of the operational rail network advantageous but not essential.
- Experience of rail operations and terminology advantageous but not essential.
- The ability to work as a team member.
- A formal qualification in Transport & Logistics would be advantageous
- Experience in fatigue management would be advantageous
