Adelaide, South Australia Randstad - Public Sector Full time $45,360 - $49,120 per year

Randstad is currently recruiting experienced Compliance Officers. The duration of assignments range between 3-6 months with a high view for extension.The location of work is Adelaide South. Days of work are Monday-Friday and Pay Rates for this roles range between $45-$49 per hour. If you have a background in: Compliance, local council safety or parking enforcement we would like to hear from you.

The Role:

The positions will undertake undertake a range of administrative and follow up activities relating to compliance

matters, ensuring compliance with relevant licences, permits, preparation

of reports to support legal proceedings and maintenance of records

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with and implementing education and training programs to facilitate compliance awareness
  • Proactively implement strategies to prevent non-compliance and minimise its impact
  • Undertake a range of audit, inspection, surveillance activities, detection and enforcement strategies to minimise non-compliance
  • Undertake administrative and follow up activities relating to compliance matters
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and practices to facilitate compliance
  • Provide advice to community and other staff regarding the requirements under relevant legislation, by-laws, and policies

Essential Experience/skills:

  • Experience in undertaking activities to promote compliance
  • Working knowledge of relevant Acts and Council By-laws
  • High level of internal and external customer Service
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

To be successful you will be immediately available and meet the above criteria. Previous experience within government will be highly regarded.
