The Role 

We are looking for both casual or permanent full time and part time Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our 87-bed facility in Kempsey NSW.  You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents. 

The LocationKempsey, New South Wales, is a charming town situated on the Mid North Coast of the state. Known for its scenic beauty along the Macleay River, Kempsey offers a blend of natural landscapes and a rich cultural heritage.

What you will do:

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring:

  • Reporting to the RN, you will lead the care team
  • Coordinate care in an allocated section of home and ensuring care plan compliance throughout the shift
  • Advising and allocating care staff
  • Recognition and escalation of the deteriorating resident
  • Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Promote a positive resident experience through a resident-first approach
  • Providing ADL care to residents
  • Maintain documentation as per organisational standards

What you will bring

  • Registration with the AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory
  • One-year of experience as a enrolled nurse in a residential aged care setting is desirable (new entrants will be considered)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)
  • Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
