About Our School

Our Lady of Mercy Catholic College Burraneer is seeking a full time temporary Visual Arts Teacher for Term 4 to teach Visual Arts to our Year 7-10 students.

This full-time, temporary role is scheduled to commence on Monday, 13 October 2025. We welcome applications from recent graduates as well.

About You

As a Visual Arts Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

• create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
• demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Visual Arts
• utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
• employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
• support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
• demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
• integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

• a tertiary qualification in Education
• eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
