Soudan Station, NT

Soudan Station runs approx. 22,000 head of cattle and is home to NAPCo's heifer hub. Located on the Barkly Highway, 1 hour west of Camooweal neighbouring NAPCo's Alexandria and Gallipoli stations. These positions would also suit a working couple or grey nomads as a permanent position or till the end of the season.

The Role: Handyman / General hand

We are looking for a station all-rounder This is a varied role with duties spanning, handyman, general station maintenance, maintaining waters, machinery operations etc. scope of the role will depend on the applicants' skills.

• Have previous experience undertaking general maintenance on property – building maintenance and maintenance of homestead
• Be mechanically minded with experience with general vehicle servicing and checks
• Have good welding skills
• Ideally have a MR/HR Licence or similar, but not essential
• Have experience operating machinery i.e. loader and bobcat
• Be able to flex across duties like fencing, checking waters, lick runs, and general maintenance tasks
• Be able to work in a team or on your own
• Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedure
