MacKellar is a mining services contractor, partnering with Bravus to deliver mining operations at the Carmichael Mine in the Galilee Basin. With a proud history spanning more than 50 years, we're known for our people, our reliability, and our results.

We're currently seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our Infrastructure Crew at Carmichael Mine. This is a 7/7 day shift only roster, FIFO from Townsville or Rockhampton.

What you'll be doing

  • Carry out general carpentry, formwork, and minor concreting works
  • Build, repair, and maintain site infrastructure including buildings, walkways, handrails, and fencing
  • Support other maintenance and civil works as required across the site
  • Work safely and efficiently as part of a small, high-performing infrastructure team

What we're looking for

  • Trade-qualified Carpenter with relevant experience
  • Construction White Card (required)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and work plans
  • Strong focus on safety and teamwork
  • Previous experience on a mine or construction site (preferred)
  • HR licence, working at heights, or confined space tickets (advantageous)
