About The Role
- Maximise recovery income by negotiating with Agents and Solicitors representing third parties.
- Evaluate claims to determine if they are viable to issue proceedings and subsequently engage external legal counsel.
- Maintain records and activity trackers of litigated matters in accordance with AAL protocol and regulatory obligations.
- Act as a referral point for technical coaching support on complex litigated matters, including Class Actions.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/ or industry accreditations.
- Significant experience managing complex litigation, ideally within the Commercial & Domestic Property Insurance or financial services industry.
- Experience in either running or being part of Class Actions.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for commercial decision making.
- Ability to make independent as well as collaborative decisions during expected or unexpected situations and then taking responsibility for the consequences of decisions taken.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high level negotiation capability to support engaging with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
