About the Role
This School Administrative Officer position is 0.518FTE permanent, commencing Term 1, 2026.
A School Administrative Officer at Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College, The Entrance Campus, plays a key role in delivering high-quality administrative tasks across multiple areas. Collaborating closely with the Principal, Deputy Principals, Executive Staff and School Administrative Manager, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the school. This position suits an extremely well-organised and highly motivated individual who is adaptable to change. The position will entail the daily use of department systems such as Canva, Microsoft and Google Workspace.
School-based experience is a must.
Essential Requirements
- Working with Children Check Clearance
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake First Aid training.
- Administration of Medications – training to be provided based on student needs.
- Extensive knowledge of using department systems such as Canva, Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Workspaces
Demonstrated capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
Administration skills including a knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work with teachers and students.
Ability to perform tasks in one or more of the following areas: office procedures; accounting procedures; sick bay; hospitality and /or design and technology; science.

Situated between the ocean and the lake in Darkinjung country, The Entrance Campus is the senior campus of Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College. It is established as a more adult working and learning environment offering multiple pathways to the HSC and beyond. Our campus consists of 850 Year 11 and 12 students with diverse backgrounds, including 8% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
We are part of a multi-campus collegiate with two middle years 7-10 campuses (Berkeley Vale and Tumbi Umbi Campuses) and a proud partner of Tuggerah Lakes Learning Community.
