Casual Admin / Customer Service – Front of House Support (Pathway to Part-Time)

We're a busy, locally owned smash repair workshop looking for a reliable, people-focused admin assistant to support our team and help keep the front office running smoothly.

This role starts as casual, with the opportunity to become permanent part-time for the right person.

Typical Work Pattern

We're currently looking for someone available across four weekdays, ideally:

• Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: approx. 7:30am – 3:00pm
• Thursday: approx. 9:00am – 4:30pm

Actual days and hours may vary based on business needs and availability.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in supporting our workshop operations and creating a great experience for every customer. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and managing phone/email enquiries
• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
• Booking jobs, tracking progress and following up as needed
• Liaising with insurance companies, assessors, and suppliers
• Assisting with parts tracking
• Using a range of software systems to keep everything moving
• Driving customers to and from the workshop using the workshop vehicle when needed

About You

• Friendly, professional and confident communicating with customers
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable juggling multiple systems and keeping track of details
• Holds a valid driver's licence
• Works well independently and collaborates easily with a small team
