Employment Term: Permanent with Full-Time and Part Time consideration.

There is shift flexibility available to vary your workdays to not have to have a standard Monday to Friday week if desired.
Location: Auchenflower, just 5 mins from Toowong Shopping Village and 10 mins from Brisbane City
Remuneration: $43.27 p/h - $44.80 p/h + 12% Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in The Wesley Hospital

As an Electrician at The Wesley Hospital you will be responsible for providing a responsive, high quality, effective and efficient electrical service.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance, repair, installation and monitoring of electrical equipment and systems
• Fault diagnosis and repair of lighting, air conditioning, refrigeration, and sundry equipment
• Monitor the operation of all hospital serviced/systems
• Inspect, test, tag and register equipment, ensuring safe to operate or use
• Plan, progress and document maintenance activities via the computer-based maintenance system

What makes a difference for us?

• Certificate III Electrical Fitter or equivalent 
• Minimum 5 years post trade experience
• Intermediate computer skills
• Desirable to have experience with air conditioning and/or refrigeration plant and equipment
• Desirable to have a Certificate in Industrial Electronics
• Desirable - General Contractors Licence
• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
