Looking to build a long-term career in mining without the FIFO lifestyle? Hahn Electrical is seeking qualified Electricians to join our Kalgoorlie-based team.

These are residential roles only – not FIFO. Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Kalgoorlie. A generous relocation package is available for successful candidates, including temporary accommodation in a modern, fully furnished unit (conditions apply).

The Opportunity

Based in Kalgoorlie, you will be part of a skilled team supporting critical underground mining operations across the region. Your work will focus on mining electrical maintenance, with opportunities to expand your technical skills in a range of underground electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance on local mining sites
  • Work on switchboards, HV supply cables, jumbo trailing cables, and flygt pumps
  • Assist with underground lighting systems, ventilation systems, and other infrastructure
  • Fault finding and diagnostics on mining equipment and systems

Training will be provided for electricians new to the mining sector, with excellent opportunities for development and upskilling.

What You'll Need:

  • WA Electrical Workers Licence (essential)
  • Current WA Driver's Licence (essential)
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
  • Sound fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Working at Heights and EWP tickets (desirable)
  • LV Rescue and CPR (desirable)

You will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
