Despatch Supervisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Despatch Supervisor for our Mackay Branch. This is a full-time opportunity, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

In this busy role you will have the opportunity to work autonomously, use your efficiency, organisational and multitasking abilities to provide on time accurate delivery of a variety of furniture to a wide range of customers.

Some of the daily tasks you will be doing may include but not limited to:

• Liaise with our Despatch team and Store management to maintain efficient and effective quality control of our warehouse stock and delivery team
• Supervision of Despatch assembly and delivery staff, which will include mentoring and training of new team members and some project management during larger installation jobs
• This is a hands-on position and you will be required at times to work within the team
• Receipting, staging and loading of stock
• Assembly of office furniture. Items include task chairs, desks and storage units in both our warehouse (and on-site if required)
• Dispatch of orders to external freight suppliers.

• Ability to assemble furniture on-site and in our warehouse
