About the Role
Join our team as a casual Laboratory Assistant (HPSS Level 2 or 3), where you'll play a vital role in supporting our laboratory operations. Become part of a passionate, professional team and work in a dynamic environment dedicated to delivering outstanding veterinary clinical pathology services.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Specimen reception duties and data entry.
- Preparation and processing of patient specimens for analyses and referral testing.
- Managing courier bookings and general client queries.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of services.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Specimen processing and data entry experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and demonstrated due diligence.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work at least 3 shifts per week, Monday to Friday, 7 am – 3 pm.
- Strong dedication to a positive workplace culture and delivering outstanding customer service.
