An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at Crafted by Matt Moran at the Art Gallery of NSW. As ambassador chef to the Art Gallery of NSW, Matt has developed a great concept, specifically for the Art Gallery Restaurant. His love for quality, seasonal and locally sourced produce is the driving force of this food story.

The Role
- Annual Salary at $77,000 plus super
- 5-day roster per week
- Preparing exceptionally presented dishes, consistent in flavour and appearance
- Run the section or sections allocated
- Ensure food is served at agreed quality and speed of service
- Assist with functions
- Working with a large company with multiple restaurants
- Assist in managing the kitchen in the absence of the Sous/Head Chef
- Follow all food safety procedures and legislation
About You
- A motivated chef with a passion for creating excellent dishes
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, from busy restaurant and/or cafe
- Ideally certified in Commercial Cookery
- Punctual, self-driven and autonomous, whilst being open to direction and learning
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic
