Occupational Therapist – Flexible Role (Contractor, Part-Time, Full-Time Options)
Coastal Care Occupational Therapy – Mid North Coast, NSW
About Us
Coastal Care Occupational Therapy is a small, friendly, and community-focused practice in the Mid North Coast region. We love what we do and we genuinely care about our clients and our team. We work with a wide range of NDIS participants and pride ourselves on being approachable, reliable, and person-centred in everything we do.
Our practice is growing, and we're excited to welcome another OT into our easy-going, supportive environment.
The Role
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist - experienced or new graduate - who wants flexibility, variety, and true autonomy in their work.
At Coastal Care OT, you'll have a say in the type of work you do. Whether you're passionate about:
- Home modifications
- Assistive technology
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- Ongoing therapy and skill-building interventions
- Paediatric work
- Or a bit of everything
…you can shape your caseload around your interests and strengths.
This role can be tailored to casual, contractor, part-time, or full-time arrangements. You choose your days, your hours, and how you work. Set your own calendar, manage your own workflow, and enjoy genuine work–life balance.
You will also have ongoing support from an experienced OT who is always available for guidance, debriefing, and clinical mentoring - especially valuable for new graduates seeking a safe, supportive transition into practice.
What You'll Bring
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel across the Mid North Coast (mobile service)
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Experience with the NDIS is welcomed, but new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply—we will support you every step of the way
Why Join Us?
- Maximum flexibility – choose your own hours, days, and workload
- Ability to work casual, part-time, full-time, or as a contractor
- Build a caseload that genuinely reflects your interests and professional goals
- Supportive, cruisy team culture with an experienced OT available for mentoring
- Freedom to create balanced weeks that work for your lifestyle
- Mix of clients and service types—with the option to specialise or keep variety
- Strong local reputation and steady referral base
- Negotiable rates, excellent earning potential, and room to grow within the practice
How to Apply
If you're looking for a relaxed, supportive workplace where you can shape your role, build confidence, and enjoy true flexibility, we'd love to hear from you.
