About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge to join our team at the Clara Street Day & Night Pharmacy in Wynnum, Queensland. As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a full-time or part-time position, offering the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. Every second weekend is required as a minimum for the role. FULL SCOPE OF PRACTICE is supported and sponsorship of costs will be offered to the right candidate.

What you'll be doing
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including supervising pharmacy staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the efficient dispensing of medications
- Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and guidance to patients, addressing their healthcare needs and concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure coordinated patient care
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards in the pharmacy's operations
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve the pharmacy's efficiency and service delivery
- Oversee the pharmacy's quality assurance program, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns
- Mentor and train junior pharmacy staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise
What we're looking for
- Registered Pharmacist with a current Pharmacy Board of Australia license
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, standards, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy staff
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in the use of pharmacy management software and other relevant technologies
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and continuously improving pharmacy operations
