As BTP Australia grows, we need a Leading Hand Heavy Duty Mechanics and Heavy Diesel Fitters looking for a great local company with options to work a Flexible 4:3 or 5:2 in our local workshop. Brilliant Overtime rates and incentives as a BTP employee.

These positions are in our expanding equipment workshop and reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible in our Component Rebuild Centre in Mackay

Key Requirements

Previous experience in a Leading Hand or similar role.
Automotive or Engineering Trade Certificate with component rebuild experience on Caterpillar equipment preferred.
Rebuild experience on one or more of the following: Caterpillar transmissions, torque converters, diffs, and final drives, wheel groups, hydraulic cylinders.
Competent computer skills with experience using Caterpillar SIS preferred.
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety measures in the workplace.
Pre-employment medical, DAS, and valid Driver's Licence and workplace licenses.
