Job Description
Oaks Port Douglas Resort
are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced
Kitchen Attendant
to join our kitchen team on a casual basis for
evening shifts.
You will be joining a hard-working, professional and friendly team involved in the delivery of an outstanding melas to our guests.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen
  • Operate, maintain, clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment
  • General assistance to employees who are cooking.
  • Assisting Cooks with assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking

Shift Details (subject to change):

  • Dinner / evening shifts
  • Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday

Hourly Rates (excluding super):

  • Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour + penalty rates
  • Saturday: $38.78 per hour + penalty rates
  • Sunday: $45.24 per hour + penalty rates

Qualifications

  • Must have minimum 12 months experience working in a similar position
  • Studying commercial cookery or relevant course.
  • Have a friendly, positive attitude
  • Have experience providing quality customer service
  • Be impeccably presented with excellent communication skills
  • Be reliable and act with a sense of urgency
  • Be available to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
