We are seeking a Senior Wind Engineer on contract/permanent role to lead the technical development of our wind projects in New South Wales. This role will cover project design, wind resource assessments, energy yield analysis, turbine specification, and technical due diligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering activities from feasibility through commissioning and operations
  • Conduct wind resource assessment, energy yield modelling, and micro-siting
  • Specify and evaluate wind turbine technology and balance-of-plant interfaces
  • Manage and coordinate external consultants and contractors
  • Support technical due diligence, commissioning, and performance optimisation
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or any relevant qualifications
  • At least ten years' experience in wind energy project development/engineering
  • Proficiency with wind modelling tools (WindPRO, WAsP, OpenWind, CFD)
  • Strong technical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills

Desired experience

  • Experience with battery storage integration and hybrid projects
  • Knowledge of grid connection and power system studies
  • Leadership and mentoring experience
