We are seeking an experienced Container Surveyor to join our ECP team at our Port Botany on a full-time permanent basis.

In this role you will be responsible to undertake inspection of all incoming containers to determine the current condition of each container to:

  • determine if containers are suitable to be used as is for cargo
  • identify any repairs required
  • complete blow outs/sweep and marking each container to identify correct status/grade

We would like to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Experience working with shipping containers preferred
  • Maintenance
  • Forklift ticket LF preferred but not essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Own transport and current driver's license
  • Ability to use electronic devices maintain container data
  • Positive safety attitude

Previous experience in an Empty Container Depot knowledge would be looked upon favourably. On the job training will be provided.
