APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Project Risk and Assurance Advisor to join a local council in Camden. 

Salary: $100,738.80 – $115,439.49 p.a. + Super

Work Type: Temporary Full-Time (Up to 12 months)

Location: Oran Park 

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the successful delivery of key projects across the organisation.

As the Project Risk and Assurance Advisor, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing project risks while providing assurance and expert advice to stakeholders at all levels. Your work will directly contribute to improving public services and supporting the growth of the local community.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications and experience in risk management and/or project management
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in risk management
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear advice and support to a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability and enthusiasm for ongoing learning

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in civil infrastructure programs
  • Ability to undertake quantitative risk management analysis
  • Experience within Local Government
