About the role

You will be responsible for providing support in delivering a high-quality customer focused early childhood education and care service to the children in a designated section of Council's Early Education and Care Service.

About you

The
successful candidate will have:

  • 18years+ (as required byEducation and Care Services National Regulations).
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
  • A current 'Paid Worker' - Working with Children clearance (NSW).
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with young children both on an individual and small group basis.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff, children and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute as an effective and efficient team member in an environment that requires flexibility and initiative.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and associated initiatives.
  • Customer service experience and complaint handling skills.
  • Ability to safely lift 15kg.
  • Current approved Qualifications under Education and Care Services National Regulations for First Aid, Emergency Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the principles, standards, and expectations
    outlined in the Child Safe Standards, along with the associated
    responsibilities.

Salary range:

From $1250 per week (+ super) to $1448 per week (+ super) dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable
candidate.
