What's the role?

We're looking for a skilled BI Full Stack Developer to join the Group Finance BI team, supporting the broader Finance function. This role is central to designing, developing, and delivering business intelligence data and reporting solutions that enable strategic finance capabilities through high-quality, scalable tools.

You'll be responsible for building clean, efficient applications using best practices, developing secure back-end components in .NET, and creating intuitive front-end interfaces with Angular. You'll also enhance API integrations with TM1 and contribute to expanding key BI applications and data sources across Finance.

This role plays a vital part in improving Westpac's understanding of the economics behind its products, channels, and operations—ultimately helping the organisation make smarter, data-driven decisions.

What do I need?

  • Several years of experience and a strong track record as a Full Stack Developer.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality user experiences and writing clean, scalable, and reusable code.
  • Solid understanding of application architecture design patterns and modern development practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities and clear, effective communication skills.
