Known for our craftsmanship and attention to detail, we're currently investing in digital tools to enhance the way customers interact with our products — including the implementation of Epicor CPQ (formerly KBMax) for an interactive 3D product configurator.

What we are looking for :

We are seeking an experienced 3DS Max Visualisation Artist for a temporary contract (3-month fixed term contract) to support our product visualisation and configurator development. This role will primarily involve enhancing existing 3D models for realism, optimisation, and integration into our Epicor CPQ platform. You'll work closely with our design and digital teams to ensure models are not only visually impressive but also functional and lightweight for web use.

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk 3DS Max
• Strong skills in 3D modeling, texturing, UV mapping, and realistic rendering
• Experience optimising 3D models for web or real-time use
• Familiarity with uploading and managing 3D models within Epicor CPQ (KBMax) or similar platforms
• Experience creating material swatches and texture maps from scratch
• Basic understanding of 3D model integration for eCommerce or configurator platforms
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with visual quality and material accuracy
• Bonus: Knowledge of Snap code within KBMax or other configurator scripting languages

This role will be based primarily on site at our HQ in Scoresby.

What the role entails :

• Remodel existing 3DS Max furniture models to achieve high visual realism
• Optimise 3D assets (polygon count and textures) for improved performance and reduced file size
• Create and update material swatches and texture maps, including generating new ones from scratch
• Ensure all textures, colours, and finishes match real-life samples and online product representations
• Upload and configure 3D models into Epicor CPQ (KBMax) for use in our interactive website configurator
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless model integration and configurator functionality
• Amend and maintain existing KBMax models/assets as needed
• (Optional) Assist with Snap code scripting within KBMax to enable configuration logic
• Troubleshoot 3D visual or integration issues, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent output quality
