has an exciting opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Quilpie, Western Qld.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) provides nursing services within Quilpie Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) under direct or indirect supervision of registered nurse/midwives to provide meaningful person-centred care in the health service. Successful EN's must demonstrate competence in the provision of nursing care in acute, emergency and aged care environments, as well as responsibilities with the hospital-based ambulance.

As this role is located in a Hospital Based Ambulance site, you will be required to:

• Provide pre-hospital emergency first response duties to community (outside of clinic environment).
• Participate in the on-call roster to provide 24hr pre-hospital emergency first response using the hospital-based ambulance or first-response vehicle.
• Complete all the core and role mandatory training requirements as per SWHHS Mandatory Training Matrix within the required timeframes.

This position may require operation of a patient retrieval vehicle (4WD) which requires a 'C'-Class Manual Drivers Licence. An appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.

Quilpie Is a Designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) Site In Accordance With The Nurses And Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015. This Attracts Additional Entitlements Which May Include

• An annual isolation bonus paid annually
• Return airfares to the nearest provincial city in conjunction with leave
• Additional annual leave per annum
