About the role:

A successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to:

• Ensure all paperwork and system entries are accurately completed and filed on time. 

• On occasions receive deliveries to the warehouse according to company procedures. 

• Manage raw materials, consumables and finished goods through the department and advise the relevant department supervisors of goods received. 

• Ensure information is accurately recorded in the system. 

• Manage outwork and update the system. 

• Ensure that plant and equipment within the department including vehicles are maintained according to maintenance procedures and organize repairs as required. 

• Assist with internal and external audits relating to compliance. 

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. 

• Exercise initiative and judgment to solve day-to-day operational problems in Logistics.

The ideal applicant will possess the following:

• Understanding planning, shipping, and basic warehouse management.

• Managing daily routes of shipments and deliveries.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Excellent computer skills.

• Forklift Operation Certificate.
