The Role

An opportunity has become available for several Customer Service Officers (Retail Food Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist in basic food preparation within the kitchen as well as servicing meals and beverages at all service points
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Perform all cleaning duties as stated in the daily tasks sheet

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
  • Ability to work day and evening shifts across a 7 day operational service
  • Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
  • Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

  • Casual (several positions)
  • Base salary ranging from $ $41.66 per hour

Retail Food Services provides the general public, staff and patients with a range of healthy hot and cold food and drink options seven (7) days per week from our retail outlets of Pulse Café located at Gold Coast University Hospital and from Bayberry Café at Robina Hospital
