Job Title: Casual Forestry Fire Positions
Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and punctual Forestry Fire Staff to join our team in Mt Gambier/Green Triangle Region. As a Forestry Fire Fighter, you will be responsible for assisting with various forestry activities and ensuring the safety of yourself and others. The ideal candidate should have excellent time management skills, the ability to work outdoors in all conditions, and thrive in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform Forestry Fire Fighting and Standby Duties
Skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of assigned tasks within given deadlines.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately and report findings effectively.
Qualifications
- A current Class C driver's license.
- Additional certifications related to forestry or agriculture will be an advantage but not mandatory.
Desirable - Not Compulsory But Certainly Viewed Favourably
- Demonstrated wildfire firefighting competency and/or previous experience in forest fire management.
- Medium/Heavy Rigid Drivers Qualificaitons
