Sterling Health and Human Services Pty Ltd is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary healthcare organisation operating three medical centres, including two regional sites, along with a modern dental surgery, a school-based health program, and outreach services to three aged-care facilities.

Our facilities include two onsite pathology collection centres with a growing team of allied health professionals. Plans are underway to establish a dedicated radiology services and pathology hub.

We proudly support a diverse team of 16 doctors, 5 registered nurses, 2 enrolled nurses, 2 practice managers, dental clinicians and assistants, and 3 visiting specialists, all working together to deliver high-quality, community-focused care.

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Program and Project Coordinator to plan and deliver organisational programs and special projects across our sites. You will be the central point who keeps people, timelines, budgets, quality standards and reporting on track so our clinicians can focus on care.

What you will coordinate

· Clinic improvement projects across metropolitan and regional practices

· Outreach services to aged care and the secondary school program

· Dental clinic initiatives including chair utilisation and referral pathways

· Pathology collection centre operations and the set up of the radiology hub

· Allied health scheduling and service integration

· Vendor and contractor activity, work orders and variations

· Data collection, dashboards, submissions and progress reports for leaders

Key responsibilities

· Develop project plans, schedules and risk registers, track milestones and dependencies

· Coordinate meetings, minutes, actions and communications across clinics and partners

· Prepare and manage simple budgets, purchase orders and records of payment

· Ensure compliance with privacy, safety and clinical governance requirements and escalate issues early

· Liaise with doctors, nurses, dental clinicians, school contacts, aged care partners and external providers to solve operational problems

· Prepare concise reports for senior management and implement agreed decisions

· Maintain project documentation and handover packs for business as usual

· Collect and analyse activity and outcome data and report results to internal and external stakeholders

Skills and experience

· Bachelor's degree in health administration, business, public health or similar

· Proven experience as a project or program coordinator in a healthcare setting in Victoria

· Strong grasp of Victorian primary care operations, referral pathways and community services

· Working knowledge of practice accreditation standards, Medicare claiming basics, privacy and incident reporting

· Confident with Office 365, practice management systems and simple data analysis

· Excellent coordination, stakeholder management and written communication

· Able to prioritise, delegate, follow through and meet deadlines across multiple sites

· Current Victorian drivers licence and willingness to travel to regional clinics

Compliance and checks

· National Police Check or willingness to obtain

· Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

· Up to date vaccinations required for healthcare settings

· First Aid and CPR preferred
