The opportunity
Duke's Restaurant and Bar in East Maitland NSW 2323 is seeking experienced waitstaff to join our team. As an Experienced Waitstaff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and contributing to the efficient operation of our busy restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen
- Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Ensure tables are clean, set and maintained to a high standard
- Respond promptly to customer requests and address any issues or concerns
- Assist with restocking and light cleaning duties as required
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar teams to provide a seamless dining experience
- Aim to exceed our customers expectations, ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar waitstaff role in a restaurant environment
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm and attentive dining experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- A passion for food, wine and hospitality
- Wine knowledge highly regarded
